There were many workshops like make your wooden candle stand, create your "original" hot dog, and some BBQ demonstrations / lessons by the Japan BBQ College, and many more.
At the "Coleman Playing Field," there were lectures on effective ways to set up a tent, contest for who can neatly and quickly fold a sleeping bag, and you could also experience piling in a bunch of camping gear into a small wagon and try pulling it around a bumpy obstacle course...etc.
There were new camping gears and gadgets from Coleman on display and for sale, a huge area to just sit and relax, and of course live music and FOOD!

Since our son was too energetic to wait in line and sit still for the workshops, we ended up just looking around and enjoying the atmosphere.
And of course...the food and live music in the open air!🍟🎶
Today, we will forget about the calories...
Cheese fries, roast beef rice bowl, miso flavored Hiruzen yakisoba (fried noodles) from Okayama, sausages, and "Crash Hot Dog" and "Ice Cornet."
Oh, and one Mojito.
Crash Hot Dog
Southern California inspired hot dog produced by HUNTINGTON ROLL (official website)
The sausage is replaced by a fried spring roll with tofu and Chinese vermicelli.
I lived in south and north California for 9 years, and am not really sure how it relates to California...but anyhow, very crispy and tasty!

Ice Cornet
From Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. (official website)
Ice cream in a cone shaped deep fried bread.
The bread is soft and is fried when an order is placed...so the bread is hot and the cold ice cream starts to melt and becomes creamy...it was so good!
If you are interested, check out their website in English!
